Focus is the name of the game. 4114df0c6bf0894884a58bba944a12e6.jpgPrecious moments with these little ones, he tried a jump again and it ended in a OTB with the bike smacking him in the back of the head. Little shredder just got up, dusted himself of and went on without a peep.

Went with the road bike out in the foothills of the Alps.  Was bloody hot out there but nice.

Took the Messers' round Kyalami yesterday. Let the wife tag along...

I ride a couple of loops in the neighbourhood (normally alone during the week), but I was really surprised at my wife's constant concern with safety. I don't think she got to enjoy the ride at all...

Sad the mental state that we are constantly in, in sunny SA.

Went to Van Gaalen's for the first time today.

Went hiking with my sisters. Some random dog from the farm joined us for the whole 10km green route, and we kept apologising to everyone riding about this dog that insisted on sitting in the middle of the trails - and you could see nobody believed us when we kept saying it wasn't our dog...haha

Definitely want to go back with a bike now I've seen the place.

Also went there for the first time on Sunday. A friend took me and junior for the loop up to the Greek Church on the hill. We were both very impressed with the trails and will definitely be back when in the area again  . I even enjoyed it so much that i took the time to have a little "lie down" on a tricky little rocky descent.

I've just put in for 2 weeks leave, thanks to you Dusty....

Please post itinerary, if you have it on hand.

Excellent - always happy to be a good influence! I was doing the 1000 Miler (Massive Adventures). It was unsupported and you chose your own route from JHB to CT(obviously no N roads allowed). I stuck quite far west and saw parts of the Karoo that have only been a map to me before. There are some stunningly beautiful places in the Karoo. Tucked away valleys most people don't know exist. Shout if you want gpx tracks.

shout if you ever need some info on riding there, I don't know everything, but I'm pretty familiar with most of VG.

We, the folk up here in the Big Smoke, have been very fortunate so far this winter... It's been a rather mild one...(hope I'm not jinxing it now  )

So early morning starts haven't been that bad...

-1 to start at FUN Gaalens this morning but by 7:30 a balmy 6 degrees.... (with no wind at all)

as always...SUPER FUN!!
