The Cape Town envy is real yo... jeesh you guys have some great trails!

 

I've actually been contemplating building a trail network on the Morninghill / Linksfield koppie. Pretty central location, good elevation to work with.

This thread help me pull the trigger on a holiday place in Somerset West last year.

 

We go there for a long weekend every month

 

This weekend we will be riding the MTB race in Banhoek

38k desert bash....thanks but I now got my fill of soft sand and dunes for a while, next...CTCT

:D There's a reason the camel (and not the bicycle) is nicknamed "ship of the desert" . My biggest disappointment when trying out a fat bike was that it sure as hell did not float on soft sand like i imagined it would.

Zona Zero Route ZZ-014 "Camporrotuno and the Treasure of Dineeretes" - This huge abandonded house  - "La Capana" - and its outbuildings, which include a Hermitage and a small Church, are beside the trail...

When I see pictures like this one I get the urge to sell everything I own, buy it and move there........resist resist resist I must! :)
