Hulle is altwee skilpaaie, maar. ???? Not our fault Afrikaans doesn't distinguish

Lol, it was just pointed out to me on our Whatsapp group that I don't know how to spell in Afrikaans, and here I don't distinguish between a tortoise and a turtle.

 

The joys of being Afrikaans at home and English at school - you aren't all the way Afrikaans or all the way English. I feel sorry for my future kids haha

Don't worry, I can't spell in either, if I was born before computers I would have failed my language subjects.

The Cape Town envy is real yo... jeesh you guys have some great trails!

 

I've actually been contemplating building a trail network on the Morninghill / Linksfield koppie. Pretty central location, good elevation to work with.

:D There's a reason the camel (and not the bicycle) is nicknamed "ship of the desert" . My biggest disappointment when trying out a fat bike was that it sure as hell did not float on soft sand like i imagined it would.
