Yoh, we REALLY do live and ride in a beautiful part of the world - just LOOK at this page people! OK, except for Dale who is currently stuck indoors for a change. I wonder whether he is as jealous as I am when I see his usual pictures?

Last ride for the year done. 

 

My year started with a ride from home, via Traverse to Bloemendal, and back home via Protea Corridor.

 

So thought it fitting to do most of this route in reverse today.  Skipped Traverse today .... knee is acting up ....

Leisurely detour to Rhodes Memorial for lunch with D..........their card machines did not work and we had no cash on us........so we rode home hungry and made our own lunch! Last ride for 2019.

After a couple of hot rides, I left home just after 6:00 this morning.  Saw LOTS of riders !!

 

Got to Bloemendal at 7:15 ..... shop only opened just before 8:00.....  I did an extra loop, and sat under the tent waiting for them to open.  Was interesting seeing all the reactions of people as they realised the shop was not open yet .....

 

 

Once the shop opened I waited for the rush to subside, then ordered my coffee.  Super relaxing morning !!
