We should arrange a socially distanced meetup where our circles overlap. But we can't strava the meetup and we can just ride past each other and nod lest we get accused of being mates.

Only if you promise to acknowledge my nod...most of my "nods" go un-acknowledged...leaves me feeling spare and unwanted! :blush:

I'm not complaining. BUT!

 

I've got a few mates in the city bowl and they can string together some incredible riding all inside the radius of treason.

5km doesnt even get me outv the hood to rondebosch common

What do mean by old style??Thats what I use!

Mine broke one after the other and I meant to buy a smart newfangled wonder gadget that can measure my blood coffee levels and predict where the most effective coffee stop should be, but I could not choose between all the models available......and I ended up riding totally without any electronic gadgets at all for about the last year and  I like it. As it is now, I just check my watch to make sure I get back in time before the cops grab me.

I have a Cateye from 2007 I think on the road bike which is small and gives me what I need.Never given a days sh*t

I was given a Sigma Rox when we had the bike shop which I use on the mtb which is pretty good as well.About 10 years old
