as jy daar waar 'durbanville hills' staan eerder regs gedraai het, het jy reg verby my 'grot' gery daar by die dam😄. Ook, daar waar daai 'ringpad' is waar Chantecler staan is orals 'cycle lanes' as jy volgende keer nog meer draaie wil ry.

Ek ry normaalweg daar by jou verby oppad trails toe, of daar langs terug.  Ook so met die Philladelphia ritte.

Ek draai normaalweg by die Engen .... Laas vroer gedraai ... lekker verdwaal in daai sirkels :P

Having a tough time of it lately ... having just recovered from my last fall.

Went for an easy spin this past Saturday, took my customary picture and a few K's later came to grief. No idea what happened, woke up in trauma ICU. Was sent home yesterday, still have a mild concussion and some abrasions ... just rest for a while now! Neuro surgeon says I may or may not remember what happened. All indications are it was a hit and run, some runners found me

T-boned a car this morning; I was going straight, in the only lane that goes straight. The car turned left without indicating.

Ended up hitting the car and almost surfing the side, with rear wheel facing the clouds. Only resemblance of the incident was my saddle (not broken), as well as some black marks on my white shoes. The saddle must have moved when the rear wheel hit the road again and my rear end hit it.

The driver felt bad, did apologize, and we all moved on.

That's a lucky escape!
Glad that's all you have to show for the incident. Wow!

Nice Spring day for trails riding.  Trails are in perfect nick.  Weather simply superb.

Trails were BUSY.  LOTS of talk of riders getting ready for W2W ....

I did the odd black section climb to hone the skills, but mostly just a long ride for endurance training.
