Was my first time out riding in The Cradle and Magalies area. Was great to ride some proper hills and climbs, and the mud just added to the fun factor!

You definitely could, we averaged 23km/h over the whole ride, on less than ideal tracks in some parts so being on tar you could easily do that.

do you do that route solo?

yep.

you have to choose your time carefully though, to late in the morning and traffic picks up, then it gets sketchy in certain places.

I am 66 yrs old. And have started the MAF training. I have been biking 25klm a day -5 days a week but found it took a toll on my old body joints. I have had both knee replacement surgery this year. Reason for surgery-I was a bricklayer for 42 yrs before I retired at 61. Because of surgery and Covid I was unable to bike for the year , hence gained 50 lbs. I plan on going back to biking doing MAF today. I am working on 6 days Maf for 1.5. Hrs a day. Rest on Sundays. My goal is to reach 180lbs in weight by may-2024. That means lose 1 lb per week. Here I go.

haha it doesn't have to be on intervals-day everytime, although I like to do them when @babseis around, I always seem to perform a bit better 😅 ! (Except when it involves mountain bikes 😵🪦)
