Usual commute - HB - to Paarden Eiland, but THIS morning, with a difference!

Testing out the Giant Revolt frame bag, which i had made up from a template - it really is 95% 'ready' just a few small tweaks, @BuffsVintageBikes mentioned that they can 'bulge' lower down, I did not experience that problem, and had NEARLY zero rubbing, but was aware not to have too much bulge ESPECIALLY between the inside of the crank arms, for rubbing-reasons!

I have (admittedly) large calves, wore rugby socks folded double, and no rubbing, so I can easily live with the bag, given its limitations.

I chose to only have ONE zip installed, less to fiddle with, and less to need a future repair. Works for me.

Next steps: a FEW of the straps need a tweak - they are positioned well, but some of the inners need to be a TAD shorter, and some of the outers need to be a TAD longer - it straps around perfectly, just cosmetically, needs tweaking!

I might ask @BuffsVintageBikes else another Revolt size: LARGE rider to test it out for me, and give ADDITIONAL feedback. COuld probably do with a reflective strip down each side, etc.

Doing a 100km event next month and have spent very little time on the bike this year. Took it out this morning. 
 

This pill box is literally 3 km from my house. I have never seen it before but some preservation society cleared all the growth around it and cut a path to the trail for folks to see it. 
 

and then, being a football fan I thought l would go visit this football ground. Seen better days, needs a lick of paint and lots of love. Need to win euromillions and I’ll help em out.

That’s close to me. My son spent a week there doing work experience at the government offices. Croydon has a bad rep but I thought it was fine. Vibey metropolitan. Property is just crazy expensive in the south. When we retire we gonna head north to the Orkney islands for a year or 2.
