Swartberg looks awesome. I have a score to settle there, as I have only been up with my head down, loaded with kit, on Vasbyt. It's on my bucket list.

I'm busy packing a mountain of food, drink and bike gear in (and on) the Landy as we speak - and will hopefully be there late afternoon!

Another teaser, just because I don't consider you a friend right now....

What a FANTASTIC weekend of riding!!!

  • Had the priviledge to ride with the great Pro SA MTB'er Johan Rabie!
  • Friday, Sunday and Monday = 250km's of awesome trails! and 4250m of climbing in total!
  • Tygerberg trails and the AWESOME Bottelary trails x 2
  • Great company that share the passion of MTB'ing!

What more can one ask for in a long weekend!

Wont be buying a new bike any time soon!

This Anthem is absolutely amazing, and Im starting to get real comfortable on it now

With the wheel upgrade and the other bits and pieces, its down to 11.5kg, which is not too bad for an alloy Dual susser

Brandon, it will only get better with time. I am onto my third Anthem in 10 years and love every minute of it. They do everything well and are very reliable. Great bike and a great ride.

I couldn't agree more! It just works, and the FOX CTD locks out solid, should you need to ride on the road, and for those long steep climbs, with hardtail efficiency.

Totally love this bike

Monark, Bullet and Brandon, your comments are very reassuring. I've just got myself a new Anthem X 29er (after my beloved 2009 X3 was stolen Sunday night) and am looking forward to new adventures and pics to post on here. [emoji1]
