L.T.G Posted May 21, 2015 Share ......yeah......on this thread they bring out the green eyed monster in me too.......and then to make matters worse Gummi posts some bikes in the "bike porn" thread.......and Ryan rubs in the salt with pictures of fat bikes and Enve wheels.......damn, they are terrible people! As proven by the last three awful pics. Edited May 21, 2015 by L.T.G
Spoke101 Posted May 21, 2015 Share What started off as a boring dust road ride turned into one of the most challenging rides for me to date...and really enjoyed it. RocknRolla Posted May 22, 2015 Share Admittedly I also use it for inspiration. Because lets face it, no matter how **** the news is, how *** your workday was, how much crap your kids give you...a ride always makes it better. except for that one-too-many-zamalek-long-toms-the-night-before-headaches....they only get worse. Been a rough week and even though I sukkeled to get going this morning ( not because of the cold, nor getting up at 5... my head just wasn't in it, the mind is a powerful thing!! ) I had an AWESOME ride at Avianto!Spent ages at the dam on Western Blue loop(which, btw, I eventually figured is what Phambili is...saw the sign )taking pics, watching the rest of the sunrise and just taking in the stunning surroundings.... Just wished I could've ridden longer and further... Now for the bombardment of pics... Interesting fact: Phambili used to have an XCO course back in the day. Apparently, some of the current trails follow the erstwhile XCO course. NixM Posted May 23, 2015 Share Looks like that was one helluva climb to get there. Bottelaray hills: first time I have ridden there. Amazing amount of trails with fantastic sections of single tract interspersed. Did 40km and there must be another 20km to do. That climd up a section was a bit tough but it is called "the corkscrew "!

gummibear Posted May 23, 2015 Share Did the group route ride for Luxembourg 70.3. Guess you can call that a International ride. Not only were there athletes from all over the world but we did most the ride in Lux.Then a corner of France and back to Remich on the German side of the Mosel River.Thats a hard 90km. Pics are pretty crappy as i was riding while taking them. BenReaper, deanbean and DJR
