Wow, gums! Different sorta ride!

Somehow, it made no difference to the temperature starting one's ride at 12pm.

Then the wife had drivetrain issues, so she turned back after 7 kms

I dont know what got into me, but I ended up doing just under 66km. And it was cold. Luckily I was dressed warm enough but the wind made for some tough going in certain places.

 

Speaking of places.... This pic reminds me of some awesome times riding at Teak place.

We live in a beautiful city.  My Korean bike thought himself tourist yesterday, so we did some sight seeing.

Came up Kloofnek from Geneva road (Campsbay).  Some of those hairpins did hurt a bit.  Awesome day out though.

 

 

On top of Signal Hill

We kept the *** day for work and ordered a beautiful sunny and warm day yesterday - and boy did it deliver.

Not mine, but I wondered if it's maybe a hubber's...? Don't see many bikes around The Zone at this time of day, and almost passed this one in the pre-dawn dark...

Was in Jhb on Monday for the day - that was helluva Brrrr (pun intended)

The ride to the reserve (32km) was chilly but nothing like Monday. Vest, normal summer shirt and a long sleeve shirt. I had 3/4 leggings on and could have left them at home. Long finger gloves.

 

The rest of the ride (98km) the long sleeve came off and replaced with arm warmers. Gloves off too.

My bike took me to Thaba Trails yesterday. Thought we would explore a bit. Did 2 of the blue loops. My goodness.... After 40 min my son asks how far have we come? I say: 7km...

Well we only ended up doing 23km but with 525m climbing! Had a great time????
