Suikerbosrand was sooo windy today it blew me all over the road. I think snaking is the word

trail-er-park used. Found it difficult at some times just to hold on.

As for the last climb into the wind...it hurt just a little. Was a tough ride at sbr today, always the most rewarding but only when you done.

Did a TT on the John Boscoe course at 12 ...the most unsafe I've ever felt on a bike! That disc wheel and a cross wind [emoji15] had to sit up a few times as I felt I'd be blown off otherwise!

Geez would hate to think what the wind would be like on a full disc wheel ????????

Keeping with the technical riding theme of this weekend, the missus and I ventured to Thaba in ve souf.

Have not been out there is a very long time, and boy were we pleasantly surprised! So much fun, adrenaline pumping leg shattering fun.

We did all the blue today, I think.4b2585a99b0dc30b26295549256fd02d.jpg

Was hoping Wendell had some lemons at the shop, so I can get the smile off my dial2faa0c3dd69da8a6c1256a1363315693.jpgf8ac915c199c0df5465242a14173b153.jpg

On the left you will see some numbers on the signboard, my legs are convinced it's the amount of metres ascent on that loop, and I could not convince them otherwise.98643c06d78125ac2844979725b4ff98.jpg

In the front there, the missus, climbing like a mountain goat. I am behind, because Im taking pictures, not because she whips my ass on the bike, no really....I'm being serious.64be2990d7fb735483a2b8212ab9a394.jpg

Barrys point. Magnificent.

Barrys point is proper fun .....nice one, blue is pretty tough though. Real leg & lung buster some of those short, steep climbs in blue.

We had our club champs TT earlier this morning, on the Crit circuit. We started at 9:30 (12km only) and by the time got back into Alberhoughton (11:00) the breeze had picked up a bit.
