I heard that its impossible to put a Dale Lefty down the other way.

Tough choice - drivetrain or lefty? Mine's ruined already, fell off a expanded metal bridge and scratched it [emoji35]

One of the many dustbins on the promenade jumped out and bumped her handle bars...shame she face planted in front of Joe cools...but did recover well...got back on the bike and rode back to Ushaka..

Ah, the coffee guys. Good coffee there. Must have been very early. Best to be avoided before the crowds arrive.

Same response from everyone on Facebook...we left the beachfront at 13.30 today...no crowds...no rubbish...and most important...no drunks.3d4738633fe42ac351a3c0e374e9cf58.jpg

Coastal Bike N Hike

Googled last night to get to know the area. 'Coffee On The Rocks' only opens at 10am, so that did not happen. But the views... Wow! So beautiful. Walked more with my bike than rode it, but the breathtaking views made up for it. Ended the ride at a calm beach. Went to get some sea water in my face. Definitely going take a dip later! Now heading to Pearly Beach (bike will unfortunately not come with)."

Decided to tackle our toughest tarred climb in our area this morning. Hadn't ridden it for years and I remembered why not???????? this morning. The main climb is only 700m long, but the ave gradient is 12,9%, reaching 15 at the steepest part towards the end of the climb. I remember when I was still fearless, I reached a top speed of 101km/h coming down the one time and that was freewheeling ????????
