Top of contermanskloof for a brilliant dusk ride. Conditions were PERFECT. Was one of my best rides this year. Getting a lot of those lately.

When you take your mate out to test an Ebike... but he hardly uses the "E" part of the bike and still sticks with you...on a TWENTY FIVE KILOGRAM bike    ... you need to ride more!! (Also,as you've always suspected, your mate is not human!!)

I went for a training ride just outside Clarens. We are staying out on a guestfarm in the mountains with no one around within an earshout. I chickened out of the Ashburton event with a tight chest after being sick the last two weeks... Decided to ride with the kids at first and then a short training stint albeit only farm roads
