My morning commute on the MTB.  Rain expected in the afternoon.

We have a canal between two rivers close to our home town

Gummi, I think we should trade bikes...

Lovely bike! Digging the colour frame and the Kashima coated fork.

Thx.

So glad I didn't go with the bob colour .

Spent some time in Mpumalanga the past week, close to Pilgrim's Rest

Started off by warming the legs up the service road one day, unbeknownst that I will be heading up the mountain in the back later on the week.

Then it was the first target, cycle to Pilgrims Rest and back via Robbers Pass

Then came the day of climbing, this is just outside Pilgrims next to the Blyde River, nearing the base of the climb, the radio tower way back there was the goal

No photos inbetween as I was bleeding from the eyes for most of the grind. Pro-tip, gravel bikes are not designed for epic off road, loose rocky, steep gradient climbs, but who cares! I made it to the top!

And the views were absolutely worth it

And I couldn't resist this awesome autumn scene either!

That was fun, 68km, 1800m climbing. Good, good day! Apart from the descending, the gravel bike was absolutely perfect for this whole trip. Awesome machine!
