I'm enjoying the interviews with Haley Preen and Bianca Haw. They are such an entertaining vibe. I hope they manage to contain the Cannondale ladies to finish on the podium tomorrow.

Any updates from your trusted dr source? Or do we still  need our hub journo to do investigations into covered up Epic rider fatalities?

Incoming, that may be Danielle du Toit's bike. Got some stuff on Bianca Haw's fiets after yesterday's stage, some slight differences.

Jussus Diesel, we have never met, chatted or whatever but Wow, ride the Epic under the most trying conditions and then write a very good informative factual report after the days racing...?????.is truly fantastic!  You managed to bring a bit of the race to my laptop.

The pro teams are so well supported, but it didn't appear as if any of them brought mud tyres along, even though they knew weather was incoming.  (Maybe Cannondale ISB? I didn't get a close enough look at their bikes). I wonder if any teams sent a member scurrying out to get some tyres yesterday.

It’s more wet that it was yesterday. This is going to be like wines2whales Pinotage 2018! Not whether sunnies will be use ful or not because they’re going to be dirty within meters

 

the rain looms like it wants to stick around but just holding off for now.

None. But no news is good news. 
Today I spoke with a dr who worked at the CE medic tent in Fairview Race village. She says it was a rough day. They had three critical cases that went to Hospital. No fatalities. 
conflicting stories. I hope hers is true.
