Can we not regulate these lowballer crackhead resellers a tad? e.g. bikemart or Joburgbikes. I always re-sell my second hand stuff for far below the community average but these guys alway try and undercut your listing by 30 to 40%.

Perhaps let's take away the listing price section and replace it with make me an offer..
Sarcasm intended but Geepers these okes are annoying.

Private sellers always think their Bikes are worth way more then what they actually are.

They forget the costs involved to get the bikes in good running condition and think we are just lowballing.

Replacing Cassettes, chainrings, buckled wheels etc.. can rack up costs and sometimes even cause a loss and this is all hard work.

We also offer a convenient service, instead of dealing with all the scammers out there.

You make a lowball offers over message before even viewing the bike.? So that’s a complete lie..

you operate under the assumption that those components always need to be replaced.? which is definitely not the case so again, you need to come up with better rationalizations for your business practices..

Convenience always costs you extra.. often isn’t actually worth it..

Because of this post I would never buy from you.. well done..👍🏻

If people say “I can get it cheaper from…” I wish them well.

my response: if you not taking it, I would be interested, please send details ....

I've also been offered a really low price before by bikemarket so I can agree these offers are really annoying. But these guys have to make a profit somehow, as even though they might not replace stuff, they have to courier it to their business, and service the bike and check it thoroughly. And they have to run a shop and pay wages. I bought a bike from bikemarket and don't regret it as the bike has never given me issues, plus I got it for a good price.
