Been looking for stands for the bikes.  I want something that will allow me to place the bikes in different spots in the garage, ie not a single parking bay.

That big store in Bellville has their own brand of stand ... but the design has not kept track with the modern wider MTB tires ....

Then I found these HOLDFAST stands -

Even a nice grippy 29x2.35 tire has ample free space in this stand

You can pay R399 per stand in Durbanville .... or R260 at King Cycles

Got some green tape, so that Maritz can decal his stand ...  :whistling:

On my list of things to do this year, plywood stands that grip the wheel once the weight of the bike is placed on it. Copy of this design...:

That should be easy enough to make .....

Nice for a single bike.  But not ideal if you need to reverse 2 or 3 bikes into their stands .... or am I missing something ?

And for some colour and my love of sweet things

I was given a pair of these socks, and bought a camelbak for myself. My old one vanished from the garage.

I also bought new rotors and grips, but those aren't very exciting.

Just arrived...

Too tired from a long work day to do anything with them, although that lyne bag only comes with screws to mount on the rail and not the straps like in a few shots. Will see...

Did find the shipping a bit odd, got a nice hard cardboard tube when I ordered my alu bar, but the carbon on comes in bubble wrap with a bit of cardboard on 1 side, in a plastic bag.

Would think carbon would get the better treatment.
