noice.

but please tell me you are changing that stem

For sure. Seat must go up and flat - stem flipped (like it should be!!) and perhaps a little shorter. I still need to do a full set up and test on it.

I'm yet to upload a pic of it, but I visited family in Auckland this past December and picked up a Garmin Fenix 5 Sapphire for NZ$ 789 (ZAR 7033) from Noel Leeming during their New Years sale. Super stoked! It's a good R3000 cheaper than Takealot sells it for. Matter of fact, you struggle to get a second hand one for that price :D

Makes my old TomTom Runner 3 Cardio look like a sundial :P

Nice, where are you riding in the Harbour city? Some great trails down in the national park and out west.

Soon as I get a vehicle ( yes I replaced my bikes before buying a car haha) I’ll go in search of the trails . But I’ve been riding the roadie around exploring. What an amazing city for cycling !!! Cycle lanes where ever you wanna go. Amazing rides through the parks and city! No looking back that’s for sure

I am not a weight weenie but am sensitive to Big Bertha's considerable girth so made some changes to help her self esteem a bit [emoji41]

Reduced her 'non rotational' weight by 75g's (new Prologo seat) and 'rotational' weight by 360g's (odd ball secondhand wheels).

Total reduction 450g's

The sharper amongst you may note that is more than the total of reduced weight according to my original statement but hear me out ...

According to common cycling folklore any reduction of 'rotational' weight is in fact equal to 1.25* (ok I made that up sort of like what happens with 96.7% of statistics) of that lost and has a significant impact on acceleration and rolling mass [emoji3]

One expects of course a 'significant' improvement of performance so she better step up!70a170f19a2f5bf1539933a63e090023.jpg

[emoji23][emoji23] Ah ok I will have to make the necessary adjustment to the calculation and my expectation accordingly [emoji106] - demmit talk about 'sub' marginal gains [emoji36]

May seem silly but...

I didn`t buy it last year as I was out of town a lot but then I went and did some math at the amount of money paid at the honesty box...  :cursing: ... may as well just have bought it seeing as I spent double the price of last year's membership.

Worth it!

Same here. I didnt get one last year, and ended up spending more paying at the trail
