EDIT - transported both bikes to the trails this morning.  NICE !!  Loading and unloading is an absolute breeze.  Bikes are super stable.  And no worries when you want to stop at the shop on the way home.

I attached some more pics and steps of the process

I use Uber often for work, and the one brand that all the drivers rave about is the Suzuki range.

Some of those I have been in have seen tons of mileage, yet the suspension is firm and stable, interior still looks good and body work is solid ....

When we buy a car again I will seriously be looking at a Suzuki .... ok, in 5 years time.....we buy new and then end up keeping the car for 10 years roughly .... currently our nearly 6 year old car only has about 56000km on the clock :P

My wife has a swift, its 4 years old and has 3900km on it... should last a fair while!

I did more mileage on my commuter vs our family car this year :P

on average claiming more than 1 000km per month for work.

First work day with the Ertiga I did 250km, excluding private use.

hoping to have the bike in the car on those days when my day ends in Stellenbosch, Noordhoek, etc ....  going to be interesting figuring out the logistics, and new trails ....

Evobikes are closed until the new year .... so I popped in at CWC after our morning ride today.

Wanted to buy a "Slug-plug" - to insert snot-plugs to seal larger holes in tubeless tires.  A SMALL one to carry in the toolbag.  No, this little tool is NOT on the shelf with the other tools .... it is next to the tills .... which gave me time to walk the isles ...  :whistling:

I then realised that their Sludge (the one with the Rhino horn image) is significantly cheaper than my regular LBS .... so I took a couple of bottles.

O.... the water bottle holder on Maritz's bike is super tight ....

Hmmmm .... onto my last bottle of chain lube ....

ended up with a nice bag of bits ....
