Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue!

Hopefully some motivation to ride a bit more again!

I am glad you putting the "round tuit" money to good use. Enjoy it.

I've been wanting to play around with Silverback's Scarosso aero bike ever since I first saw it.

It was released a little while ago and one finally arrived. I'll be testing it before I offer it to my customers but so far it looks on the money!

Is this part of the frame or an add-on? (It looks like a different colour/pattern?) I quite like the result either way.

This is probably what Look wanted that horrendous older model 795 to look like at the front end...

It is part of the structure but has been given a matt black painting - I guess to hide where the carbon lay up gets really messy there. It does limit the turning of the bars and there is already a mark on the other side where the stem has contacted the top edge of the raised section.

I really like it but a short torso/long leg guy like me needs the spacers under the stem. A long torso/short legged physique can probably run without the spacers and that would make for a pretty awesome integrated look!

So after chasing the dragon trying to build the perfect bike for me I’ve done a full 360

3 bikes, a long thread. Some lost money and a lot of aggravation mixed with fun I’m back where I started

There are some colour issues I need to deal with like brake hoses but I had no alternatives for these brakes - black hoses on order as well as new seatpost and bars to dip the weight well below it’s current 11kgs with pedals cages, garmin mounts and sealant

semi serious question...

was this given at a discounted price because you are still waiting for that other unicorn frame that never got (will be?) released? or has it? or did they refund you on that one, I cant remember now.

PS: this looks so much nicer than the 'dale version of it though. the colours salso suit it much better imo.

I got my money back on the Unicorn after waiting 2 years.  I then got in touch with Pat directly, left 2 requests on their website and eventually gave up.  I called Louis from Knipe Racing in Durbanville who knows Pyga's well and he sold me his demo for a very decent price

Was surprised by the apathy from Pyga and my previous experiences (Unicorn Mobu apart) had always been good

I am immediately comfortable and happy on this bike

???? ????pushed the boat out there with those brakes!!!! Tell us more about them.....

Trickstuff Piccolas, rarer than an honest politician - 18 months waiting list currently

If you want your brakes superlight and with awesome stopping power, these are the best, it's not even close

But they have become so expensive - I was an early adopter and had the foresight/luck to buy a few sets
