Can anyone shed light here. I've had a OneTwenty for over 3 years now, and there's an ever so slight "clunk-clunk" in the rear suspension, when I'm off the bike and I lightly push down on the saddle. I can feel it when I'm riding - a tiny looseness somewhere. My best guess is the actual rear shock bushes - but I wanted to know if this has come around with anyone else? And where does one find replacement bushes if that is indeed the problem?

Tx in advance.

I had that. Loose bolts.... But I'm assuming you've already torqued all of those. Hilton can help you find the bits. Pop Pyga an email. They usually respond quite quickly.

Check shock bushings first, especially if not replaced in 3 years. Your LBS should have replacements or can order them.

If not bushings then methodically check each pivot point in rear suspension. Put a fingertip across the joint and then lift/lower the bike's rear end. You'll feel the play if there is any.

Don't forget to also check headset and wheel bearings just in case.

It is a common problem with the Monarch shocks. Mine does it too and it's a brand new  bike. Apparently there is a problem with the internals in some of the shocks. The issue seems to be that one of the shims kinks and that is what causes the noise. But as said above, contact Pyga directly. They are usually very helpful. I'll be sending mine off now that Berg and Bush is complete.

Hey Guys,

Didn't want to start a new thread and know that you guys will at least be honest and know the bike. I have a 110 and a Zero, i enrolled for an MBA and need to get some cash. Unfortunately the only place I can recover some cash is from my bikes, there is no way I am selling both my bikes so the logical thing is to keep my 110. I would like to know what do you guys think my bike is worth and what I could ask for it in the classifieds . I know there is only like 7 or so of these around and I know one day I will kick myself for this but at this stage it seems like the logical thing to do. Any advice is Welcome. Please note that I am not desperate for the money but need to recover some cash!

Some Specs:

  • 1x10 X9 Shifter and Deraileur
  • GX 32 GXP Crank
  • XT Brakes
  • CArbon Rigid Fork
  • Rapide 70mm Stem and 720mm Bars
  • Cant remember Wheels but can check

Just discussed with two other Pyga owners....

You're probably looking at around R10k or so for it. Would probably get a bit more if you had a Revelation or Pike upfront.

This looks like one of the first Zero frames - which had their issues. Your axle to crown length on that fork doesn't look right for the frame geo - I could be wrong, it may be the picture. I'd say it should have an axle to crown of closer to 490 than 475, given its ideally run with trail geo over full on XC geo.

Tatt's suggest above isn't far off.

The last upgrade now occurred. After months of waiting for my Fox to come back from a repair (not exhilarating, been waiting since July).

Replaced the Reba with a Talas with 95-120mm travel.

Short summary:
Race Face 735mm Bars with Lizzard grips
DaBomb 35mm Stem
SRAM XX Shifters
SRAM XX Rear derailleur
Shimano XT Front derailleur
Praxis wide range 10spd cassette
Thompson Seatpost
Fabric Scoop Saddle (fittingly with a green shell)
Magura MT5 Brakes with 180mm Rotors, these things offer nearly too much power
Loaded X-30 Wheels with Loaded Signature Hubs, excellent 30mm internal rim width

I just love riding this bike and with the new fork it is going to be even more enjoyable and cannot imagine ever riding any other bike but a Pyga.

Like the crank decal!

Thanks very much. Was a bit of a process finding someone to print exactly what I wanted.

Thought that the Green Goblin suited the character of the bike quite a bit. I am looking at having set of decals made for the Fork with a similar design.

The Green Goblin suits your character...not the bike....hehehe

I think the bike suits my character, and the Goblin suits the bike's character. Therefore your assumption is correct.

But since stickers do not stay on my, they are better left on the bike.
