Well done Hub-mob, you kept it going til the Oscar trial re-started 20 mins ago, time to go to that one and carry on pre-judging.

Actually there's devastating testimony going on right now, you really ought to check it out - Mrs Stipp is up.

to all the doubters... you should be ashamed of yourself!!

A seller should only be hounded and flamed after the date the items were meant to arrive, not before they are even sent.

Well done to Shaun for putting up with this crap, you are a bigger man as a noob to the forum than many so called experienced hubbers.

I commend you for putting up with their crap even though you communicated when you could and assured all concerned even in the face of harassment.

Welcome to the hub, hopefully you will be left in peace now!!

Indeed i am ashamed, and apologized, and apologize to Shaun.

....but, with the scams going on, i felt this was the only way, after seeing the internet pics and multiple cell phone numbers alarm bells went off. Bman made a things clearer, and also cleared it up completely. So just like I've jumped the gun, maybe you should too, give me some slack.

Bman, rate the seller!

To all now following!! Guess what just arrived with Fastway couriers - my bought Dura Ace groupset!!

Besides a few scratches on the crank arms - which obviously werent present on the internet pic on the add - I couldnt be happier that a groupset has arrived with my name on it from Ronsha!

So thank you Shaun!

Arrived as you had said it would.

Well that does clear up a lot of doubt. Please go give Ronsha a rating and some feedback on his profile top aid his future dealings.

I think you had every right to be cautious. Very similar method to some real dodgy dudes. Luckily this one turned out to be ok.

Meezo and not singling out you in this in fact far from it, you just asked the question if anyone knew him as you had concerns, it was more other hubbers jumping on the band wagon without actually being involved in the deal or have spoken to the guy.

We all have a right to be cautious, but most raised concerns and slandered the guy as a fake even before a deal had been done or the goods had been sent.

In days of old it use to be only if the goods had not arrived after a few days was a hubber hounded (named and shamed) and asked if anyone hubber knew him so that they could go speak to him directly in person.

This noob hubber had to defend himself even before items had been posted and in fact (as a noob) sent items and advised that he had sent it even before the money had been cleared in his account.

How many times do we advise not to send things until money is in your account, yet because some were directly involved in a purchase, this sensible logic goes out the window and demands raised which quite frankly they have no rights to do.

If you don't like the deal or feel that there is something not right... then don't do the deal, walk away and look elsewhere.

The hub needs to consider the use of an escrow (escroue) system when buying and selling.

In its simple form, the buyer and seller nominates a trusted (old hubber) third party to receive the goods before payment is made. Once payment is made the escrow agent will then forward the goods to the buyer. In the case of out of town purchases a escrow agent closer to the seller can be nominated, to take delivery before cash payment is made.........

Bman I suggest you take a pic of the groupset, depicting the scratches. It may well be that we can carry on the lashing of Ronsha for posting internet pics with the specific intent of hiding the scratches, and then season 2 of this thread can begin. We all bought popcorn and we wanna finish it, long live hub justice, G-d help us all. Dulce et Decorum est

Pro patria mori.

What if bman was in on the scam from the start? And this has been an elaborate plot to get unwilling hubbers to place orders. Who needs "the mentalist" when we have the hub

No need to go there - yes there are scratches which I was not aware of at all not knowing it was an internet pic.

But I am just really grateful to have a groupset at the end of the day.

Besides all my stuff is kept perfect so maybe im being pedantic about the scratches.

okay then ill post pics for you guys to decide.
