Currently running MTB wheels but hope to put something lighter together some time ....

Built some 'test' wheels with stuff I had lying around and from my good friend Pikey (generous and genuine chap that!) - carbon rims (24 hole) to MTB hubs (32 hole) ... #JustBecauseICan

Sadly won't be riding them the next 2 weeks while I'm in Capetown ... They need some fine tuning.31af036f301a7642bc40d8a2d331c9fa.jpg4b816decf7857600069577289f2864ce.jpg

Swiss Van ,

Many happy miles . You gonna love that .

Ultegra Di ??

Why DT Swiss , not Roval wheels ??

I have CLX 50 on my Tarmac ... Love them .

Perfect for all the big climbs on the East Rond .....

Thanks, can’t wait to do some riding on it.

Yep ultegra Di

Those Rovals are expensive, so I stuck with the standard option DT’s. The money for the wheels might go towards new golf clubs, I’ll upgrade the wheels next year

Hey guys

I recently finished rebuilding my 2012 Stumpjumper FSR. I bought it here on BikeHub and initially it was supposed to be a "true the rear wheel and get a NW chainring" kinda build.

This S-Works Epic of mine has seen quite a few years of racing and is looking a little worse for wear... Stripped it down and it's currently at the painter.

Planning something a bit brighter and more 'woke'... Let's see in a couple of daysc7e1a38a1010fd43db465285717b8e8a.jpgb3da0fe0ba02c1428d79b1f41084f12e.jpgaedf1e2efe60c9a05e93ede726f3975d.jpg

Nice! Where's it getting resprayed?

I have a good mate who's a car spray painter... I look after his bike and personal IT matters and in return he paints the 'occasional' bike frame for me [emoji41]

While I waited for the basecoat to be done I had a mate cut the vinyl for me ... got the frame back Wednesday, applied the decals and rushed it back for the clearcoat. No patience I know [emoji12]

Picked it up last night ... can't wait to start putting it back together! Lekker weekend project [emoji41]
