Picked up some sort of virus after ride last Thursday, body ache and temperature for few days but looks like I'm over it now just in time for Sundays race.

Sudden onset of phlegm in my chest last Friday, couldn't stop coughing.

Rode the CTCT MTB with no major issues on the day.

Symptoms have persisted and gotten worse this week.

I've seen a few people around with similar symptoms this past week.

Something in the air?

Anyone else experiencing similar phlegm/coughing symptoms lately?

Got me a bit worried for Argus come Sunday if this persists.

Sore throat after my ride on sudnay. Had a med lemon and on mon. Popp8ng some immune boosters. My neck, ears and head intermittently felt like someone was pointing a heat gun at it this week. Those symptoms ar gone today, but feel very tired and seems like some phlegm development. Used the asthma pump more also this week.

Hi people, I'm looking for advice please. I was in a fender bender in 1996, little head on collision where I had numerous bone fractures. My ankle was subsequently fused and the orange line shows which bones was fused. Now some 23 years on I've been diagnosed with arthritis where the red circle is. What meds can I take for the severe discomfort, burning, pain sensation that I have almost 24/7.cf2a3063c4de871ea3bab28293406df2.jpg0900fe2b97de16ec1b1fc913b7dfebff.jpg

Worth investing in a session with the likes of Dr Louw or Dr Halland.  The phone number for their practice is 021 939 6106.  They are at Panorama. https://www.ilouwrheumatologist.co.za/

The term "arthritis" is a VERY broad one, extending from a mere infection of a joint to various crippling joint-degenerative conditions.  NOT nice seeing an 18 year old in a wheel chair due to sever arthritis.

I have been a patient of Dr Louw for more than 20 years.  The low points included not being able to walk up steps, not being able to hold a tooth brush ..... Doing a LOT better these days.  Did pedal incorrectly up Dorstberg cheat on Sunday (feet too far back on the pedals), and my feet are still hurting.  Very fine balance between staying active, and protecting trigger points.

Started with Bronchitis yesterday, saw the Doc, and he prescribed what he needed to. Chilled weekend for me.

Chill properly and it'll do you the world of good.

Two weeks ago today I caught the violent tummy bug that kept 12 of 20 kids from my oldest son's class at home for a few days. It was rough. Saturday and Sunday was all about throwing up. Monday the sinus infection kicked in. Then the throat infection. I just managed it all with over the counter stuff. This was a carbon copy of what my oldest gave to my wife and twin babies a week before. They also all had conjunctivitis right at the end so I was waiting for that. They had also all been to get he Dr and got meds. Then yesterday I wake up and I have the eye infection. Decide I had better go to the Dr. Turns out I have bronchitis as well. No wonder I have been struggling the last 2 weeks to get better. Am on a whole bunch of meds and already feeling better. The Dr put some dye in my eye to check for ulcers, turned my snot from hulk green to lumo yellow. My lightie thought this was cool.
