I had a fancy cassete player in my first 2 cars (same player that I just transfered over), if the gap between the different tracks was long enough you could skip forward a track. It would FFWD until it found the gap and then play from there.

yeah, its called auto cue. All my tape decks had that feature. LOL it was a requirement for me.

the problem came in when I'd get cassette recordings of club mix CDs, one track mixes into the next with no gap between

Was coming down a hill pretty fast today on the MTB, marvelling at how great disk brakes are and remembering how, as a kid, I'd stick my takkied-foot against the front tyre to slow down when the brake pads wore out but I still wanted to ride my bike . . .

Takkied foot .... you were one of the rich kids ... I used to use my bare feet on the rims (Could not even afford tyres) to slow down slowly

Was this rear suspension (Torsion Spring) the forefather to Specialized Epic rear suspension ?

Not sure if that should be in sartalics or not...
