Shanana

I willed the webs between my fingers to get bigger and bigger...!

One of the weirdest things I think ever saw was Sha-Na-Na performing at Woodstock. Just didn't seem right.

I only ever bought one LP but I had to use advanced technology to convert from a '.lp' to '.tap' format for one of these..

Dude, have you seen Guardians of the Galaxy? When Star-Lord's character hit the tunes on his, my son asked, "Dad, were those things like for real?"

I had a yellow Sports one something like this:

Worryingly, I don't have to even look on the Web to remember, just need to open my DVD* cupboard... I am clearly stuck in the 80's...

Morne tackles Naas

One of the finest men to lead the Springboks, Morne du Plessis wasn’t adverse to controversy. The 1977 N.Tvl/WP Currie Cup semi-final, in the cauldron that is Loftus Versfeld, was one of those rare days of Morne madness. His late bone-crunching tackle on Naas Botha, raised the ire of not only referee, but the entire Loftus crowd and Du Plessis was escorted off the field by police after the final whistle.

Well....if you follow the shaving thread, you'll realise that these old razors are the best way to go and cost an arm and a leg these days.

Nice collection there!!

I need to see if my old man still has his. If he does, I'm going to ask if I can have it. It's one of the proper ones... Forget which, but it came in a lekker metal case (which he still has)
