Brian Fantana Posted January 29, 2015 Share climbs in the Argus route? Where are they? Are you a noob? We all know that the Argust is the hardest race in the world. You will sit on the podium in cycling-heaven if you have a sub 3 August under your belt. ScottCM Posted January 29, 2015 Share I reckon Manxy is off his best or past his best. He isn't the almighty sprinter he was a few years ago. Remember the guy that didn't need a lead out train? Awesome for the race though - that'll bring plenty global attraction to ye olde cape town cycle tour argus newspaper world fun rider champs!Yes his name is Marcel Kittle Long Wheel Base

We know how it goes, Put at least 2 men together in a room and they will find something to compete over. I can just picture the elite peloton coming round the circle with a km to go and Mark saying "go ahead lads, I'll watch from the back"

ZeroNeo Posted January 29, 2015 Share The Argus maybe a little to short for him. So Nolan may have a better chance.

JanJan Posted January 29, 2015 Share Theres a saying that the skill gap between a 18-handicap golfer and a scratch-golfer is just as large as the gap between a scratch-golfer and a pro. I would argue there is a similar comparison between a Tour sprinter, a 2h50min Argus rider and a five-hour-hopeful riding his first Argus.

Frosty Posted January 29, 2015 Share Everyone races the Argus. Position #23167 is just as important as #1 If he is RACING, then the mail issued by CSA yesterday about licensed riders in an unsanctioned race is a load of.... I reckon he'll be cruising with some corporates and those with a healthy wallet. If I'm wrong, I'll have to EDIT my post Long Wheel Base
