My OH also said if it was his he'd go clear coat , but and I hope it's not an offence to David's craftsmanship, I've decided on a tinted coat. It's going to be a surprise to me too as to how it turns out. :)

That would be my next choice before paint. What colour tint?

A tint that highlights the fillets and craftsmanship....   surely....

Steel is dead.Why would anyone want a bike made of a material that can be hammered and bent?
