Just read this on FB from his boet:

My brother, Barry Mccallum, is in the Glynnwood hospital.
His car exploded when he started at his home this morning, and according to his neighbours, turned into a fireball. He managed to escape, but suffered severe burns on his body.
I've been to see him. He is awake and coherent, but in pain, and full of morphine. He has burns over 70 percent of his body. He is expected to have surgery later today.
I will keep you all updated.

Yes... Just seen it on his FB, and I seriously doubt that Kevin would joke about that. A car doesn't simply explode unless it's a Kuga. 

 

From FB: Update: we think that there was a leak in the fuel line of his ancient Opel Corsa.
