..so ... what sort of price are you thinking of.... may need to build something up for my son

Its a nice frame and ive held onto it for sentimental reasons, but ive come to the realization that i will never need it or ride it again. Its not super collectible, like some of the earlier Zaskar frames, so all i really want for it as i mentioned in my first post would be a donation to an animal charity. Im not fussy, but i think a few hundred ZAR might just help a with a few meals for some rescue dogs. Im not sure where you are based, but we usually support FORA or Husky Rescue up here in Jhb.

Busy doing a 'resto-mod' road bike build for a local Christian Charity. They have provided a lot of the parts and I have put together what I have available.

The wheels they provided are old Campag but the groupset is Shimano, need a rear wheel not fussed what or how old.

Also need a 27.2 seatpost and clamp to go with it, again condition and type irrelevant as long as it works

Would appreciate any help with this please, am in the Alberton area ....

Bike done and handed over [emoji41]

Thanks for the seatpost Zaskar, used the one from my track bike I hardly ride on this bike due to time constraints. Now my track bike is complete again [emoji3]

Thanks to Grumpy from CycleHub for the Shimano rear wheel, Byron from Just Cycles for lots of small bits and pieces ... lots out of my stash in the garage, all for a good cause!b76c508291ff47aba3dad2287ff350fb.jpgfdfd83cd14c35d1b0f2ccbcab8edb4c2.jpg

Hi Gents

I’m looking for a scrap alu mbt frame which has a usable swing arm and pivot point. 26er, disc brake compatible

Also needed is two similar head sets with the top section of the fork from either a road or mbt alu frame that have been scrapped, for the front steering system.

This is for a trike build for a person who has lost some balance, speech and sight from a medical condition. But loves cycling.

Assistance appreciated

Regards

Graham.

I am looking for a 27.5+ 3" tyre, my rear tyre is passed repairing but I am planning on upgrading the wheelset in the coming months to a 29" set so don't really want to spend on a new tyre now.

Hey guys, I managed to damage the thread on my lock ring. It now works it's way loose on rides.

If anyone in the Strand area has one to donate I would be very appreciative. I feel silly for having thrown so many away in the past now. Shimano 11 speed

Hope you come right ... I generally hold onto those odds and sods .... they often irritate me when I sort through them or move things around the garage, but then again late at night trying to finish a build they can be a life saver for one of those odd things that usually seem irrelevant.

As a temp solution, do you have any plumbers thread you can used on the lock ring to keep it in place for now as a short term solution?

I'll give that a try. Thanks!
