I need a handlebar shim, 35mm to 31.8mm.  Can somebody assist?  I have a 35mm stem, want to use a 31.8mm handlebar.

I wouldn't shim the handlebar - chances are you will feel the bar moving in the stem clamp while riding. There's a lot of force that goes through that clamp.

I ride shimmed handlebars all the time.

I have 2 bikes (1 my road/gravel BMX and the other my Rigid SS mtb) which use shims and I don't notice either.

Just line up the shim gaps with the gaps between the stem and stem plate and off you go

Looking for 3 of these ..... Hinged Water Bottle Cage Clamps 28.6mm

Have a classic steel framed bike and lost the original water bottle clamps.

The frame does not have cage threads.

Anyone know where in SA I can purchase these hinged clamps?

Currently hacking it ... but the coffee shop guys don't think much of it  :)

I am looking for a set of 7 speed shifters, just the rear if the front is not available. A 7 speed rear derailleur as well. Trying to help out my garden guy, what a state his bike is in. Happy to pay :)

Thanks.

looking for the plastic clip on the chin strap of a Bell Stoker helmet

MASSI Closure Buckle For Helmet

I will look at home .... but I think the ones I have are for larger straps.

I bought various of these straps and fittings at a hardware store for a 4x4 project a few years ago.  If memory serves me it was at Brights in Boston.

EDIT ... Brights does not have stock.  They directed me to a shop in Northumberland street, just above Recycles

Have a look at Duathlon, I got a bottle mounting thing with rubbers for like R129, holds a water bottle on my wife's bike well even after a year.
