Anyway corporate endorsement of environmental campaigns is usually just lip service. Until there is some kind of rethink about the current structure and model of pro cycling then it will be case of take what ever you can to put a name on a jersey and fend off the wolves for another year. TBH when Bahrain came rolling in with money and a wish to sportwash part of it's reputation of torture and human rights abuses then you figured that money and survival of teams trumps conscience. Some may say the same holds true for the start of the giro in Israel but that is a even hotter potato to handle.

Game on!He is still sinking £££ into Ben ainslee's cup attempt.An interesting combo, regattas one week and bike races the next. Said to be worth £20bn, so if he puts in (let's be ridiculous) £100m per year then that's 0,5% of his net worth. Accounting rounding
