831Watt for 48s - peaking at 1400W, nah nothing special to see here.

The numbers tell part of the story, this guy is obviously very strong.

As has been said probably 10 times on here already: It was his willingness to do the work to catch the leaders, even if that means he pulls some guys to the front, and still back his sprint which made this a remarkable victory.

What would be absolutely telling would be the power graph for Allaphillipe and Fuglsang from 36km to-go till 3km to-go vs their power output from 3km to-go until the final 1km when Kwiatkowski caught them. I'm guessing they both dropped their output by at least 100W in those crucial 2km which gave Kwiatkowski and the rest a chance to catch them.

The Strade Bianchi finish played the biggest part in making those two play Poker and overplay their hands, trying to bluff the other one into doing the work.

still a thrill looking at the end of this race...

but lets drop this sky idea and MvDP signing with them...2 years of their "training" and ideas and he will be a ruined rider..i think this guy will have his career on his own terms like Sagan to an extent...

Actually he's just Dutch. Very confident people so its easy to confuse this with arrogance.

"Arrogant" is a very misinterpreted word. It gets used when people can't describe Confidence  is a positive manner

There are only two types of people; the Dutch and those who want to be Dutch
