I once had a pair of Spez MTB shoes, that is until an informal building contractor decided it would look better on his feet, compared to mine. My fault for leaving them in the garage. I can’t even remember what they looked like, but were also well suited to my feet.

Oooooopsssss ....

I’ve purchased a pair of Sidi road shoes and replacement lenses for my Rudy’s. Both times I received my order within the same week I ordered. I can’t complain, but will steer clear based on perception, rather than experience.

I will never buy Sidi again... not because of ASG, but because they are a narrow fit, and my feet like the wider fit. I get a lot of flack on my club rides for my 2007 pair of Shimano shoes... tatty, but comfortable.

Sidi alsi makes some nice wider shoes . They call it mega

Isn't it mostly sugar anyway, which literally lasts forever? Asking for a friend...

why would it have a expired date mandatory ? It goes off.

Ja but now he can push to the front of the taxi queue and everyone will just nod their head knowingly

is that some kind of fancy veggan salt?

it absorbs water from the atmosphere...

and a "best before" date tells domestic administrators when to throw perfectly good tomato sauce down the drain and go buy another bottle

Very likely that he won't know how to get in or where the good seats are

I actually refuse to wear any of those brands because of their poor service. Will stick to the alternatives just to avoid dealing with ASG

I’ve recently had a very concerning purchase from ASG.

There were selling the High5 Zero at a reduced price. I received the product, but after looking at the Zero tubes, there were NO expiry dates at the bottom! The tubes had the old High5 branding on them, which must be over 2 years old?

Ultimately, I think they removed the expiry dates because that product had expired. I emailed them and after back and forth with customer care, they shipped me a new box of Zeros and collected the old ones. Unacceptable and surely illegal.

Not standing up for them, but I did see in all the marketing material that was maild to me regarding consumables, there was an indication that these items were close to or expired etc. No harm no foul, as I have yet to see a cycling supplement that is affected by ageing if the packaging is seald. Same thing with medecines, there are expiry dates, because there have to be, but they are not really an issue.

So the efficacy is still the same, maar nou ja.

I have Gu's and fast fule bards that are more than a year past expiry in my cupboard that I still use and have never come to any harm.
