That face looks like it's smiling but those eyes are saying, "HTF am I going to sit on my bike for the next 18 days" I'm not so sure that this is his year but if he wins I'm a fan for the rest of his career.

If Cav wins another stage I'll drop some dog food at the local SPCA, if he makes it to Paris I'll go back with some more and if he wins the green jersey I'll need to take the bakkie. I've always been a fan but even I thought he was done, he's had some luck this season with DQ picking him up and Sam Bennett having a brain fade moment but sometimes that's all you need. That Patrick Lefevere sure runs a great team and right now JAF must fancy his chances to take yellow to Paris!

Excuse my ignorance, but who is "that cheat"?

Is this a honest question?  If so Eddy Merckx with 34 tour stage wins.

Patchy needs to say why he think he was a cheat .... ????

And England beat Germany 2 nil.  Can we move on?

English news media and fans done lost their minds. We'll NEVER hear the end of this.

To think they were quite so arrogant with their predictions before that RWC '19 final...

Honest, yet possibly naive question I guess ????

Will wait for the explanation about Eddy Merckx ????

All I can say, many doping allegations in the past.  True?  I don't know.

Ok, thought maybe as much... ????

And I would then probably agree with the "many doping allegations" levelled against almost anyone and everyone who rode bike races way back then...

picks for today, apart from the usual suspects... Lutsenko - did a stonking TT in the Dauphine, Soren Kragh - not too many chances for him on this tour, but this is one of them, and Stefan Kung - good in a TT and probably should be one of the usual suspects?

So much of excitement. This is one TT that's worth watching from start to finish, not just the favourites towards the end.

Different times, different sensibilities. Back then, people found doping got a 30 day race ban. Now we believe there's no punishment harsh enough.
