My 2029 stats are a series of failures

Must do better this year

6062 km when target was 10 000

135000 elevation

Overspent on bikes

Was to lazy to ride yesterday so fell short on festive 500

Gained weight

Really need to refocus my energy more positively

There is still time to fix 2029 :)

And that is a lot of climbing for 6,000km. At least 10,000k's worth of hills.

Typing the wrong year just another 2020 failure

Yes I have no choice on the climbing - unless I go up and down the “main” road here I’m in for hills

Hit my 7000km target...with ease.

Bit fell short of my 120 000m elevation target by 802m [emoji2357]3f6255f9d65de65fb95eff2245e0296e.jpg

I value my vert goal far more than my distance goal.

Love the mountains. Need more in my life.

Yes, me too!

That's why I set myself a goal of more elevation this year at 130 000m, and just 8000km distance goal.

Well done everyone on your achievements.

I didn't manage nearly what I had hoped for the year but am still happy that I was just able to get out there and ride my bike.

I think an interesting metric is to divide the total vert for the year by total distance. I get 15.14 meters per kilometre which equates to 756.5 meters on a 50k ride. Basically, it's not flat where I live. ????

A little harder to achieve up here in the big flat

Come ride in the South (Glenvista, Bassonia, Mondeor, etc.) and you’ll the vertical miles will add up. Your legs and lungs won’t like it... but it’s possible to get >1000m on a 50Km ride.
