After the Gorge the temperatures started hovering around the 30's .... Strange how those few degrees can add to the challenge .... This was our first time doing the "Black route". WOW !! After 32km we were VERY happy to see this Oasis in the desert !!!! Having finished our nearly 4 liters of water a few kilometers earlier this truly was an Oasis in the desert ..... So can do anything from 12 to 70km. We did not turn back at 23km .... not realising the next turn is only at 32km ... 🤪 BenReaper and Frosty 2
