It's a spectacular place and for sure most of the DH trails are clearly MTB territory (I've enjoyed most of them on my AM bike) but that Irish is perfect for a gravel bike, the contour jeep tracks are also cool for gravel bikes but who wants to go back down the boring way!!???

A quick spin through the local forest, bitterly cold with very strong winds today... character building weather 😁 

 

Spot the UFO cloud

 

Lots of leaves and mud

 

One path blocked by the forest workers who dragged this fallen tree over the entrance so bikers cannot ride down it

Went for a ride with a mate this morning. 

Weather conditions were perfect for cycling. 

First pics on our town dam wall, right outside my back door.

Then on to the old disused Villiersdorp road that goes past Brandvlei dam.
