Wow this thread has been going since 2010. It's a bit like a hub archive and atime capsule of the last 15 years of SA cycling. I always check it Monday morning to see what new works of art are up here and there are some truly award winning contributors who regularly make me envious of their weekend activities

When you have some time go back to the start and look at some of the posts and photos. Its clear that  cell phone photography and editing skills have improved massively since 15 years ago. So has bike tech moved on massively - photos of 26ers were the norm. And sadly lots of folks who were regular contributors are no longer active. And there are a ton more venues we ride with purpose built tracks that didn't exist back then

It never gets easier. It never will. Tomorrow is not the day where doing that thing takes no effort at all. Tomorrow is just a day later and possibly the day when it gets even harder but we still go out and do it!
