If I stop for a coffee break on my ride in my PoT I’ll most likely be mugged.

And then bundled into the back of a cop van coz you missed the deadline coz you were trying to stop the bleeding from your multiple stab wounds.

You'll get a criminal record but the oke who stabbed you's case will be thrown out of court due to lack of evidence even tho he has a knife with your blood on it.

Cow therapy, a ride for the soul...

It was Monday, but might as well be today. Also struggling with the exercise window (ha ha) but SO grateful that I can get out. Nearly went up the wall before this...

Lockdown started with burying my 12 year old girl, my Belgian-Swiss Shepherd cross, who has been the light and sun of my existence. It was truly downhill from there.

So, cow therapy.

Oh, and I can see these cows with my binocs from my upstairs window when they are in the top field  :) just behind the "mad house" on the hill.

Anyway, cows... for the soul. And landscapes to steal, with the eyes.

This idiotic exercise window is really not working for me. I only get Saturday and Sunday morning, and not really for more than 90 minutes at a time.

So, I have decided to not try and squeeze a weeks worth of suffering into that, but rather to try and squeeze a weeks worth of feel-good into it.....hence the portable coffee stop......and I try ride the prettiest routes I can find from home.

I got asked to include 2 stops for coffee on our ride this weekend.

Disclaimer: our means three people, not a group. I will not compromise safety by riding on our own. Safety isn’t just from muggers, or someone driving while typing, but also crashes, punctures, etc.

It’s perfect. 650 and 2”. Conti X trail and race king mix. (Just don’t try it with mud I don’t think!!) I can’t believe how comfortable it is with the rigid fork.
