yeah for one this was my first mtb ride since I suffered a double fractured forearm so confidence wasn't at it's best, and the revised/enduro line I only do with my enduro bike, I was riding the XC bike I'm way too scared of going OTB on those big rock gardens with the little bike, the big one is waaaay more forgiving with the extra travel and slack angle

First time I managed to go up that jeep track without puting a foot down, looks like zwift is paying off, and it was the first time since I changed from 30 to 32 front blade, with the 11-42 cassette, I was really surprised ! If it works there it should work everywhere

I hate that hill.

Ja. Looking down into contermanskloof. The Mainline & Revised line (and the tower) are behind JBR in that pic

I rode that and it's a bitch   :whistling: Single track done was fun though.

Late afternoon, garden route

New steed!?

And that Ford Anglia!!!! Man, memories made in one of those...my boets first car, was red, no syncromesh gears...had to stop to put it in first...did plenty of surf trips PE to JBay for varsity hols and even handled the flooded Krom and Sand River on runs to Seals! That angled back window was a bonus cause the birds could never sh%t on it! Floor eventually fell out from riding on the sand!

New bike indeed and it will do plenty mileage around your old stomping ground of the Anglia days - though I suspect my gear shifting will be smoother. See more pics in the boast about your latest purchases Fred Edited by Waynemol
