Awesome rides around East London (incl Floradale MTB), searing heat and dust one day (45clicks) and clammy overcast hero dirt (25clicks) the next, after an overnight downpour of note...all done with a healthy dose of social distancing...ie vastly different levels of post-Chrismas fitness!!!

I saw a guy cycling in the snow wearing rugby shorts the other day [emoji1][emoji3063]

When we were in the UK a few years ago I smoked outside the house in the snow, dressed in shorts and Crocs [emoji1787][emoji1787]. The British must've thought I lost a few marbles in the head.

They’d clearly have been right [emoji1]

And are right ..... wearing crocs ... who would do such a thing!

Couple of years ago we were in London over Christmas. On the day we flew back I put on shorts and slops, and walked to the Underground like that with a T Shirt and Jacket - everyone looked at me like I was a few marbles short. When we got to the airport I was happy as a clam.

The thing I noticed about all these cold countries is that in winter they heat everything up inside, so if you are dressed warmly you are okay outside whete you spend a short amount of time, but too hot inside where you spend most of your time. I'd rather be cold for 15mins outside and comfy inside than too hot inside.

But, I am that guy that only wears long pants and closed shoes for work, weddings, and funerals.

You don't have to tell me hahaha

My previous job I could do that too. But it was in Pretoria. I recon the Cape makes up for the fact that I have to wear long pants and closed shoes.

Lekker bra

Slummies has a few gems.

Rode floradale this morning, was real clammy out.

Pity about lvl 3, Floradale is best with a cold brew at the finish

Edit: I hope you enjoyed the Lantana coming through wansley
