I prepared myself for getting chuck OTB when the front wheel was to hit the pavement, praying that the car pulling off on the other side would take evasive action. Fortunately the weeds and dirt next to the pavement created a little ramp and I was able to clear the pavement, avoid getting hit by the car and stay upright. I'm not sure where I hit her, when I checked on her she was rubbing her head but seemed to be to shocked to reply to any of my questions.
