Science of Sport Mayhem challenge:

Rules:
- max distance = 50km
- road rides only, no gravel or mtbing
- can't ride the same stretch of road twice in either
direction (so no out and backs or u-turns. You can cross
an intersection perpendicularly)
- start and finish in the same place.

Planned route was 49.9, but a couple left turns were closed (boomed off area).

I've just thought of an idea for the below 5deg mornings. Instead of putting the nytril gloves UNDER the normal gloves, I'm going to try them OVER. My thinking is that the normal gloves have some sort of moisture wicking and should keep the hands dry, the nytril gloves should stop the wind.

I once tried the nitrile gloves under my cycling gloves. After less than 5km my fingers were drenched in sweat and almost froze of. Couldn't get life back in them for three hours. 

Fingers still an issue, no matter what type of gloves or combination of gloves I try.
