After a nasty off and concussion a few years back, I've had a firm dose of the "Nopes" on any jump / drop that isn't a roller or table. This was the first attempt. Not a big one, I'll admit, but it's a step in the right direction. In four days (Germiston to Durban), I've done 10% of my total Km's for the year.Lesson to be learnt: I need to get more riding done. Frosty Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I would like to do this next year...ride down to Amashova..It's such an awesome experience - the guys were already planning for 2016 in the "taxi" on the way home. No "I'm never doing this again" comments from a single person. We passed two groups that were part of a tour company, and I know of three other self-organised groups like ours. So there's no shortage of riding groups. The only thing to consider is a backup pkan in the event of bad weather conditions. Day 1 (225km) would have been much harder/longer if we had a head wind.
