was planning on riding yesterday (wanted to spend lunch at Thaba), and then mr germs and virus got hold of my, now i'm reduced to occupying the couch under a blanket.

Some greenery, blue stuff, white stuff while riding around planet Zug yesterday, days like this don't happen to often here so I thought i'd try make some of you jealous...

 

That antenna at the top is the same altitude as Joburg

The bottom of the mountain is at +/- 430m above sea level

 

And yes there is a ride able road all the way to the top, and no I've never done it on my road bike

D'nyala Nature Reserve, Slightly off the tourist route

 

When I was stuck up in Lephalale I went to D'Nyala a few times but never left the "tourist route". Probably the most boring 30km of dirt road I've ridden. Pretty bleak I didn't do more exploring now.

Spent some time here fixing flat, 3rd round. Note to self: replenish Stans in tyres, esp, after it has done its job sealing a side wall cut last time out.

 

That rock look hard, almost granite like. But it was originally sedimentary (note layers). Metamorphic?
