The descents are crazy long. The final one I have on the action cam as 35 min!!!!

It's amazing how well they've done with a relatively small amount of gradient. Another part I really enjoy is that you can hop across on to other trails at those little cross over points.

(I might have the trails a bit confused here but..) A fun thing to do is top of blue. Then at the cross over point ride the trail exit. Then into the jumps on yellow. Then at the crossover grab the trail exit again. Then across to G Flow and down to the coffee shop for a coffee.

Yeah, that's something that I remarked as well. You do the long pedal up the service road, then you hit the first bit of flow, then you hit Red (Jungle Fever), then you end up at the start of Blue (Crazy Creek) and when you're done with that you end up at the start of Yellow (Forest Frenzy, which is absolutely AMAZING) and then I was so poked from the stoke that I decided to head back. 630m in 24km, not bad!

So, worrying terribly about my hallucinogenic ride yesterday, and my incoherent posts about it, I decided to take the young Ds with me as witnesses and go check and see whether  I am now completely scrambled in the head or whether there is still hope for me!

I am delighted to report that I am mentally (if not aerobically) as fit as a fiddle again today -  I assume that with the rain, clouds and fog gone, from my head as well, the mountain, Cape Town and Table Bay all returned to their rightful places in the universe.

I took a picture to prove it.

Truth ????

Apologies

Fake news supplied by this user ????

'As the owner/operator of one of the more recognisable beards in pro cycling, Israel Cycling Academy's Dan Craven could be expected to have a strong opinion about the recent news that Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise director Walter Planckaert banned facial hair from his team.'

Met laaste ride by Walvenpas wat geëindig het met skroewe en plate het ons dit vanoggend weer gaan pak ongelukkig was swart roete toe maar ons was gespoil op die wit roete perfekte weer en great trails. En niks gebreek nie.

That is a new bridge I don't recognize. Been away from Welvanpas for too long.
