Not locusts really ... more like a doubling in the already hravy traffic .... with bicycles strapped ontop of and to the back of every second vehicle ...

Weather looking better by the day ....

Saturday morning wind may impact the fun rides ....

But looking better and better for Sunday ....

Remember the Potch train is almost on its way...no amount of pesticide or foot and mouth disease protocols will prevent us from entering the Cape😎😉.

Very looking forward to the trip. Now if only we can have Oom Willie out of bed tomorrow at 3h00...🙈

Don't forget your passport. And it is of vital importance to make sure you have your entry visa stamped inside for the duration of your stay. Welcome to the Republic of the Western Cape where the wind blows, the sun shines, the roads don't have holes and stuff works.

Does anybody have a map of the parking areas?

Three main options.

Parking Structure TWO at CTICC ... this is a vibe all in its own ... Nice and close to the start, marginally further from the end, but mostly downhill so not an issue.

Any of the V&A Waterfront parking structure .... further from the start, but closest to the end.

Any one of the city parking areas, along the roads, under the bridges etc etc ....

Of all these options I much prefer the CTICC, for the CTCT.  For the Gun Run or similar I use the V&A options.

NOTE - any out of towners .... the CoCT LOVES handing out tickets for illegal parking .... They WATCHES a bib-waering "marchall" guides us in, it looked all legit ... got back to them busy writing out fines WHILE the bib was still guiding in cars .... This was for the expo a few years back.
