So yes I was a passenger today up until 38km when I got a flat so changed my tube and did a coffee ride for the rest. Fun day out though. But as usual there’s the lot who have done only a couple of Argus races and have worked the seeding system to land in the age catergories. Somehow everytime they pass a timing they flippen brake or slow down 🤬 then to the box who took me down at soetwater intersection, don’t come back next year. cadenceblur Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Had a great day out in 1E, the pace was hot from the start and we caught quite a large contingent of 1D at IIRC before Fish Hoek, all in all made for a big group which only thinned out after Smitswinkel- getting to the climb took a few efforts off road for me as there numerous sketchy moments leading up to that point , I unfortunately also encountered a complete idiot who thought it wise to cut across to the pavement on the Westlake off ramp heading down to the main road, MVP would have been proud of my bike skills to narrowly avoid a high speed crash.
